Freddie Mercury, the singer, father, and former child star, died Saturday at age 84.
He was the third person to die from a rare type of coronavirus this year.
He left behind two sons and two daughters.

He had many contributions to society.
I love him very much.
He will be greatly missed by his many fans.”
In the statement, Mercury also said he had been a mentor and friend to his sons, Dylan and Chris.
He said: “I will always love them, and I will always be grateful to them for all the good things they did for me.
I am incredibly grateful for all that they did.”
His daughter, Kristen, said she was heartbroken by his death.
She wrote on Twitter: “We are saddened by the loss of Freddie’s wife, Kristy, and son, Chris.
Our hearts are broken.
I will miss them terribly.”
Dylan and Chris Mercury’s son Dylan was also a founding member of the band The Black Keys.
He wrote on Instagram: Freddy died today at the age of 84.
His sons Dylan and Christopher Mercury have also released albums.
In an Instagram post on Saturday, Chris wrote: I miss you so much, man, so much.
I can’t believe it.
I miss you.
I’m still in awe.
“Freddie is the greatest of the best.
I wish I could do the same.
I have to share this with you.”
According to a Facebook post, Chris said: I’m so sad to say goodbye to my brothers and sisters.
They were the best, and it hurts to see them go.
I lost a friend.
It’s so sad, but I’m just so happy to be able to share my life with you.
He and I had the best time.
I’ll miss them.
On his Facebook page, Chris added: I miss him so much…
I’m sorry to my brother and sisters… we will always remember you.
According.to his bio on the Mercury family website, Mercury was a longtime supporter of children’s health issues and worked as an adviser to the nonprofit Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.
In 2009, Mercury released a song called “Baby Blue” with The Black Angels, an offshoot of the legendary rock band, to support a childhood cancer research effort.
The song went on to be a hit for Mercury, who has since worked with Children’s Health Insurance Corporation to fund cancer research and other causes, according to his biography on the family website.
A songwriter and actor, Mercury started working with Dylan and his band in 1995 and continued working with the group in the late 1990s, his biography states.
At one point, Mercury even had a baby daughter named Dylan.
Daughter, Dylan, died of a rare form of coronavia virus on Saturday.
She was born in October.
