“If you want to die and I’m going to take you with me and take you to the edge of the universe and you have no choice, I will take you,” he said, adding that he was prepared to kill his wife if she wanted him to.
The clip, which was first reported by ABC News, is one of several clips of him making similar comments during the 2016 presidential campaign.
In a March 2017 interview with CNN, Trump said, “If I do kill my wife, if I do it, I don’t care what happens, I’m taking her to the side of the wall.”
The video was posted on YouTube last year, shortly after Trump won the presidential election.
“If you do it and I don, I know what happens.
I will make sure that they take me with them and they take their wife,” Trump said.
Trump’s campaign did not immediately respond to a request for comment on whether the video was a joke.
He also said he could be “very dangerous” if he were to kill anyone.
“I will be very, very, dangerous,” he told ABC News’ Brian Ross on March 3, 2017.
