Ben Stillers’ parents are trying to change their kids’ parenting style by taking responsibility for their own health.
“I’m the only one who knows how to cook for my kids, and I’m the one who’s been responsible for feeding them.
But the other moms are just like, ‘You can’t cook for me, you’re not the one cooking,'” Stillers, who is also the CEO of Stiller Nutrition, told the Daily Dot.
“I think that parents, if they are really good at it, will be a lot healthier.”
Stillers believes that it’s a matter of personal responsibility for parents to understand what their children need.
“If you’re responsible for your kids, you should really think about what you’re cooking and how you’re preparing it and how your kids feel and how they react to it,” he said.
Stillers, whose company is now known as StillerNutrition, has started a blog where parents can share tips on cooking.
“We’re really trying to build a community around cooking,” he added.
“It’s not about the ingredients.
It’s about cooking and learning and learning from your children.
And that’s really the best thing.”
Stiller, who was previously known for writing the book How to Raise Healthy Kids, believes that parents should take a more holistic approach to cooking and parenting.
“The more we are willing to step back and look at ourselves and our own cooking, and we’re willing to think about all the different things that our kids need to have and are not getting from the foods that we eat,” he told the Dot.
