When Colin Kaepernick became an NFL star, he found his way into the world of parenting.
But as his career took off, he came into conflict with some of his friends who had more pressing matters on their minds.
The father of one of those friends, Justin Bieber, said on Friday that he was speaking out about his son’s arrest on a child pornography charge.
Bieber was arrested at the airport in Seattle on July 11 after being charged with possessing child pornography.
According to the Seattle Times, Bieber was in the process of getting a flight to Europe on his way to Australia.
He was not supposed to fly on Thursday because of a medical condition, but he made a mistake and flew back to the United States on Thursday, leaving his girlfriend and child with his mother.
The parents of another of the celebrities who were on his flight are also speaking out.
A source told TMZ that Bieber’s mother and the two other parents were with their son and their two kids when he was arrested.
“They said they did nothing wrong,” the source said.
“They said he was only doing what he thought was right and that he did nothing to warrant arrest.”
The parents are asking for the public’s help in locating their son, who has been in custody since being booked into the King County Jail on Friday morning.
